Almost 11 months

Yay! An Update! :)

Ok, I know I suck for not posting something for a few months... but things have been busy.



My mother in law had a stroke ;( She is doing ok now, getting better slowly but it was a huge blow to the whole family.



Penny finally got a couple of teeth! :) Only took her 10 months! :) She is working on another 3-4 right now, so soon she will be ready to take on some corn on the cob.



The twins are talking much more now, which is a huge relief to me. Mason loves to walk around saying... "Hi Mom" to everyone, not just me :) Then if I hand him something he will say, about 10 times, "Ti-you Mom" (Thank You Mom) it is very cute.



Everett is getting ready to go to school! I can't believe it! my baby... hhaaaa. But he has been working on his letters and numbers and is really ready to head to school and show the teacher his skills ;)



Parker is heading to Jr. High! Although in her head she has been there for many years now! LOL. She tried out and made the comp soccer league, so she is going to start that in a few weeks also. She would like to try out for the school soccer team too... so she is going to be one 'in shape' chick with all of that running! :)



Dallas is going to be a big time SENIOR this year! Wow! Class of 2010! Crazy! Let's all cross our fingers that we can make it through this year without any major bumps or buises.

Quick Update

Well, it has been a month and I really need to get better at updating this site. :)

Everyone is doing well at our house, and we are just working towards Summer Vacation! for the kids! They are especially happy about that.

We have soccer, football, talent shows, church functions, family functions, birthdays... it will be and has been a busy time for our family!

Well, it has been a crazy few weeks. I took Henlee in for her 6 month check up... about a month and a half ago... and mentioned that her urine had a different smell to it. That led to a urine culture and come to find out she had a UTI.

Later that week, we found out that it was due to E Coli! :( So thinking that it was a wiping issue, we treated it and paid it no mind. The doctor wanted us to have another series of tests done at the hospital though. So we did them... an ultrasound and then a test to see if she was refluxing urine up to her kidneys. Thinking everything was going to turn out negative.

Nope... she is refluxing urine up to her kidneys. She will have to stay on antibiotics for the next 6 months, testing every so often for more infections.

She is such a sweet and happy baby that if I didn't mention the change in smell, we would have never known. No fever, no fussiness... just sweet spirited Penny :)

Dallas has joined the track team this year, which I think is a great great thing! He is learning to be part of a team and it gives him something to work towards. Plus the new friends and fun things that come along with it :)

Hello All,

It's March already! The year is already wizzing by!

Miss Henlee, AKA Penny, has been growing like a weed too! She is sitting up on her own now and rolling all over the place. She is loving her new found independence that she found once she was mobile.

She is such a great baby... no crying, just a little whiny when hungry or tired, that is about it. She is a happy happy girl and just a joy to have around the house :)

Here are the SISTERS! Boy do these two dig each other. Parker will walk into the room and Penny's eyes will just light up and she will start smiling and talking to her. They have a very close bond already. It's very sweet. :)

Greetings from Washington State :)

The whole crew and I took off last Saturday morning and got on the road to Washington to visit Au's brother Laauli and his family.

The weather was fine until we got to Lake Shasta area where we were just pelted with snow! LOTS OF SNOW! And for a California girl, it was quite the experience driving in the snow.... but we made it through and got to Oregon safely. We stayed the night in Medford, Oregon and then headed out bright and early the next day to drive up the Washington. The best part about the hotel was the indoor swimming pool for the kids... see Henlee's picture in her new suit :)

We spend the afternoon on Monday at my sister-in-laws parents house. They have a farm and the kids were able to ride the horses, and ride the quad runners, and jump in the trampoline... tons of fun for everyone, even the observers.

The weather was cold when we first got here but each day after has been warmer and warmer. :) I love the area here and would move here in a heartbeat!

Happy New Year!

2008 was a wonderful year for us. We welcomed our little girl Henlee, Dallas turned the big 16 and Au and I celebrated 5 years of marriage! :)

Recently we got the kids and my mother together for a couple of pictures... here is the product of that effort :)

Parker left for Science Camp today! And I miss her already! She is such a wonderful part of our family that it hurts to have her gone... even for a few days!

She is going to have a great time though and I know that she will enjoy her time away.

Parker turned 11 on the 3rd of December! It is hard to believe that she is 11 already... but then at the same time, she acts so much older.

She is by far my biggest help around the house and with the babies. We couldn't do it without her!

Hello All!

Henlee finally got her two month shots... about a month late, but better late then never. She was a champ and cried only for a minute. Luckily the nurse was really quick to administer them and I was able to pick her up and soothe her :)

She, at just under 3 months, weighs 13lbs, 5.5oz. That is some where in the 50-75% range. Which, for us, is a pretty small baby ;)

This is Griffin... he saw the camera come out and he took the opportunity to ham it up. He looks a lot like Everett in this picture... well all the time really, but especially in this picture.

Henlee's 2 month appointment.

Henlee's two month appointment went well today. She dodged the shots today because of a cough. So we have to go back on the 21st to have her oh so fun shots :(

But she is doing well otherwise.

She weighs 12lbs even, and 22.75 inches long. Right about the 75th percentile for both.

Back to work!

Well, I am back to work... I hate to say it, but I am. I wish I could win the lottery and stay home with the family, but until I start playing... hee hee, I have to get back to work.

Henlee is almost 8 weeks old now, and man is the time flying. Au is having a hard time letter her cry or even just sit alone for a period of time... something about a little girl just makes a grown man melt :) I love it!
